René’s career started in high school helping teachers with new technology trends, then friends and family with blinking VCR clocks. In 1994, Rene's first job was installing giant satellite dishes for some of the most prestigious homes and casinos in the Las Vegas Valley. Rene's work ethic and attention to detail propelled him quickly into a project management role where he oversaw projects for some of the Valley's largest and most elite custom homes. Rene caught the attention of one of Southern California’s largest consumer electronics companies, who hired him immediately. He oversaw the custom installation for 7 stores in the Los Angeles and Orange County areas.

 

Eventually Rene moved back to Las Vegas to take on one of his most ambitious roles yet.  As Director of Construction, Rene was hired to create, develop, and run the daily operations of a newly formed home automation company. Over the course of 7 years, Rene successfully ran a customer service and installation division that serviced over 5000 customers in 2 states!

 

In 2008 Rene met the love of his life, his wife Charity, and then they teamed up to start their own Systems Integration Company, On Point Audio Video. As small business owners, their time at On Point helped them understand the importance of quality and customer service for the local community.

 

Their love for the outdoors and Midwest hospitality, led them to a courageous move to Madison, WI in 2016.  After a couple years of getting to know the local market, Rene and Charity opened PULSE Automation & Security
